Strengthening Member Resources

The GCSAA exists to serve its members — and I want to make sure it always will.

I want to continue our strong education programs and career development resources so every superintendent — from their first job to their last — has the tools they need to succeed. That means protecting and growing the programs members rely on, and making sure the association remains responsive to the real challenges we face on the course every day.

Continue and strengthen existing education and certification programs
Expand career development resources for members at every stage
Ensure association programs remain practical and field-relevant
Support mentorship connections between experienced and emerging superintendents

Advocating for the Profession

Our work is often invisible until something goes wrong. That needs to change.

I'll work to elevate the public profile of golf course superintendents, build stronger relationships with industry partners, and ensure our voice is heard where decisions are made. As a GCSAA Grassroots Ambassador and Carolinas GCSA Vice President, I've seen firsthand how important it is to show up at the table — at the National, State and Local level.

The future of this profession depends on the people coming up behind us.

I'm committed to championing First Green, growing scholarship programs, and mentorship networks that bring talented young people into turf management. As GCSAA First Green Liaison for North Carolina, I've seen students light up when they discover this career path. We need to keep that pipeline strong — and make sure the profession is one they want to stay in.
